The opportunity
This role develops the capital-formation plan for ProduQtive Capital and helps secure the financial and strategic support required to progress from development towards launch. It is distinct from wealth distribution: the primary focus is prospective anchor investors, strategic capital partners and the overall fundraising architecture.
What you will lead
- Develop a sequenced capital-formation strategy covering operating/seed capital and, separately, prospective subscriptions to any future investment fund.
- Identify and engage appropriate anchor investors, family offices, institutions, strategic investors and other potential capital partners.
- Refine the investment and business narrative in coordination with the CIO and founder, ensuring claims are supportable and risks are presented clearly.
- Manage investor pipeline, meeting preparation, follow-up, data-room readiness and fundraising milestones.
- Assess whether and when specialist placement agents or other advisers may be appropriate, including their mandate, economics and conflicts.
- Provide candid feedback from the market on investability, governance, structure, fees, liquidity terms and the evidence investors require.
Experience and approach
- Demonstrable experience raising institutional, private-market, alternative-investment or strategic capital, or a closely relevant capital-formation role.
- A record of navigating sophisticated investor due diligence and building trust with senior decision-makers.
- Strong communication, negotiation and project-management skills, combined with sound judgement about investor fit.
- Understanding of the distinction between company financing and investment-fund fundraising, including relevant regulatory boundaries.
- A realistic approach to fundraising: no reliance on unsupported pipeline values or implied commitments.
Initial priorities
- Build a target investor map and prioritised outreach plan.
- Identify the key evidence and materials required for each type of potential capital partner.
- Establish a transparent CRM and reporting rhythm for the fundraising process.
- Test fundraising assumptions and recommend a practical sequence of capital milestones.
What success looks like
A focused and credible fundraising process, clear separation between operating-company capital and fund subscriptions, and a well-managed pipeline of genuine investor conversations.
